Proposed SRB Testbeds

At this early stage, scientists from around the basin have proposed the watersheds or testbeds, shown below. The organizing principle is that, in order to close water, energy and mass budgets and assess uncertainty/variability in the same, we will need well monitored field sites. Many of the sites below already have extensive monitoring. Sites shown as "??" indicate a physiographic region which, as yet, has not been proposed but is necessary to complete the "network". The advantage of historical sites is the leverage it provides for an efficient start to the observatory.
